Elementary Battle of the Books
During the past few years we participated in the Elementary Battle of the Books competition!
The Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program for students in grades 4th and 5th. Students read books from a list and come together to test their knowledge of the books they have read.
Every year our team consists of 4th and 5th grade students who read the 18 books and then study hard to learn as much as they can about each book. Students must write 10 test questions for each book. These questions are combined and used for our practice test questions. Our students did a great job at last year's competition and most of them are already reading some of the books on next years list.
