Media Center
The JTB Gerald Johnson Media Center belongs to all of us. As a family we must respect each other and treat our family and things with care. You are responsible for taking care of all items in the Media Center, including those you check out to take home. We ask voices are kept from a silent level to a whisper level while you are in the library so other patrons are not disturbed.

Check-in and Checkout
The check-in station is located as you enter the Media Center. Scan your book's J.T.Barber Media Center bar-code and look at the computer screen to make sure the title and your name are displayed. Place your book on the cart located by the check-in station, place it on the correct color coded shelf. The green shelf is for everybody books with lots of pictures and the pink easy reader books; the red shelf is for non-fiction books and yellow graphic novels; and the blue shelf is for fiction chapter books.
Grab a shelf marker before you leave this area! They are located in the basket beside the book cart. When you are ready to take a book off of the shelf put the shelf marker in the spot you are going to pull the book from, this helps you return the book to its proper place.
